Wehaveinitiatedthetransformationoflocalizingkeytechstackarchitecturewhileleveragingglobalcapabilities.Todeliveraworld-classdigitalconsumerexperienceinGreaterChina,wearetheSiteReliabilityEngineeringteamtobuildastrongfoundationofobservabilitythatcoversbothservicesan1dapps.ResponsibilitiesBepartofagrowingteamthatestablishesnewservicesbasedinChinaWorkwithadiverseteamofdifferenttechnicalbackgroundsonestablishingalocalizedsolutionforservicestabilityHelpcrossfunctionteamsinvestigateproductionissueswithstronganalyticalreasoningandevidenceLeverageexistingtoolstofindservicebottlenecksandopportunitiesforimprovementsBuildontopofexistingobservabilityplatformstoaddressnewchallengesBepartofon-callrotationthatrespondstourgentissuesRequirementsExcellentcommunicationanddocumentationskillsinEnglishBSorMSdegereeincomputerscienceorengineering,orequivalentexperienceWorkedasITprofessionalforatleast3years,withatleast2yearasaSRE/DevOpsExperiencedinsupportingmicroservicesonAWS,troubleshootingproductionissuesSolidunderstandingonbasicnetworkingconceptssuchasTCP,HTTP/HTTPS,CDNExperiencedinbackenddevelopmentwithatleastoneofthefollowingprogramminglanguage:Java,JavaScript,PythonFamiliarwithatleastoneofthefollowingtime-seriesdataplatforms:Splunk,NewRelic,SignalFX,AWSCloudwatchFamiliarwiththeAgiledevelopmentprocess
